This detailed replica of a Viking belt tip is made after a Viking Age find from Gotland / Sweden, dating to the 11th century. Viking Age belt tips in Borre style of this type have been found both in Scandinavia and in Russia. The Viking belt tip from Gotland measures 4.2 x 1.5 cm. The belt tipfitting is made of high-quality bronze and also available in real silver-plated. Fastening: As evidenced by Viking period examples, the belt tip replica has two pins 8 mm long on the back. These are best bent slightly at the tip with round-nosed pliers and then simply tapped flat with a hammer.
