Description
Belt tip in the Borre style of the Viking Age.
This belt tip made of bronze is a beautiful accessory for belts in the style of the Viking Age, inspired by examples in Borre style.
Strap ends were found quite frequently in Viking Age finds and were very common in Scandinavia and England as well as in Russia.
The Viking Age strap end has the dimensions 3.3 x 1.5 cm.
The strap end fitting is suitable for straps 1.5 cm wide.
The belt tip is made of high-quality bronze and is also available in genuine silver-plated.
Fastening: As evidenced by historical precedents, the belt tip has two pins 8 mm long on the back.
These are best bent slightly at the tip with round-nosed pliers and then simply tapped flat with a hammer.
