The Vendel Leather Shoulders Kit designed by Alex Agricola, are tough leather shoulders with a unique embossed set of designs on every part, they go beautifully with our Vendel body armours.

This exciting new kit can be chosen with Raven or Wolf embossing or ordered without embossing for you to add your own details, the kit contains all of the leather, rivets and buckles needed to complete one armour, along with a set of fully illustrated instructions in pdf format, all you require to build this armour is a hammer, a smooth hard surface to hammer against and  a 3/8 inch (10mm) domed rivet setter. You will also need a dye/stain to add the colour of your choice and resolene or similar to seal the leather against bad weather.

This armour is designed to be worn and used and is suitable for Renaissance Fairs, Larp, Re-enactment, film or theatre and can be upgraded to SCA regs simply following the steps below, it is detailed enough to be used on screen and will stand up to close scrutiny and the sternest critique.

The Shoulders come in one size only

To improve protection for SCA use we recommend gluing a heavy Suede (not included) to the inside of the armour
