Jörmungandr SCA Leather Body – With Shoulders

The Jörmungandr Leather SCA Body with Shoulders are one of the most unique designs to be offered by Black Raven Armoury , these have been professionally dyed and built for you by ourselves. Created & designed by Alex Agricola, the whole set is made of premium grade top grain Veg Tanned leather (laminated to a minimum 6mm thickness).

This armour is 100% suitable for a variety of uses, be it SCA event, theatre stage or big screen, this kit will enable you to produce a set of fully functional REAL protective armour.

These items are normally in stock, but require hand finishing and staining for each order, this typically requires 14 to 16 weeks between order date and the shipping date, this may be delayed by public holidays.

Description

The Jörmungandr Leather SCA Armour body with shoulder is a stunning piece of work.

The Design comes from Black Raven Armoury founder Alex Agricola and features a stunning Nordic Serpent motif embossed in a centre panel which represents the midgard serpent.

The Jörmungandr Leather SCA Body is enhanced by a set of Vendel  Raven shoulders (pauldrons) and is formed of premium grade top grain Veg Tanned leather (laminated to a minimum 6mm thickness).

The Jörmungandr SCA Leather Body is also available without the Shoulders (Pauldron)

The Jörmungandr LARP Leather Body is likely to become one of our most popular designs. It is dyed and built for you on site by our master craftsmen. The body is formed, as you would expect, from premium grade top grain 3.2-3.5 mm Veg Tanned leather.

This set comprises of the Body and a pair of Shoulders (Pauldron).

This armour is designed to be worn and used and is suitable for SCA, reenactment  or theatrical use, detailed enough to be used on screen and will stand up to close scrutiny and the sternest critique.

Size M is a size of 102-117 cm (40-46 inches)
Size L is a size of 117-137cm (46-54 inches)

LARP Armours : All of our LARP Armours are a minimum of 3.2 to  mm - 1/8 to 9/64 Inch - 8 to 10 oz Thickness, this is perfect for LARP and Cosplay events where any "combat" that occurs is non lethal and typically involves rubber covered foam weapons with plastic, or fiberglass cores. SCA Armours : All of our SCA armours are laminated to a minimum 6.5 mm- 1/4 Inch - 16 oz Thickness, many also have a degree of water hardening, this combination of hardened laminated leather is ideally suited to SCA and HEMA combat

Please be aware that all of the Armours Black Raven produces are hand made and finished to order, so please allow sufficient time ahead of your event when ordering.
